Google One is a service that replaces Google’s premium storage plans currently offered under the Google Drive sub-brand. This service is a fresh take on consumer cloud storage, and is a lot more than just a Google Drive replacement.
Get to Know the Service
All existing Google Drive premium subscribers would be upgraded to Google One whenever the latter is offered to consumers in its full glory. Google One would offer plans that have storage capacities starting from 100GB and going up all the way to 30TB. Storing any number of hefty media files would no longer be an issue, as a result. As aforementioned, Google One isn’t just about storage. There are quite a few other benefits or freebies on offer too. For instance, users would receive Google Play store credits, or deals on products people usually come across when carrying out a Google search – for instance, hotel booking discounts.
Enhanced Customer Support
Another major improvement would be in the form of much better customer support. Subscribers would have one-tap support access whenever they require assistance with any Google offering. This feature should be quite handy for people who are less tech-savvy. Google also wants to project itself as a family-friendly service, which is why it is trying to make its plans a lot more appealing to families. In other words, Google One wants its plan to be shareable between five members of a particular family. And there is also easy access to quality tech support in case issues arise.
